Former Director of one of New York City's foremost art galleries, Noelle DeSantis decided it was time for a change. An avid enthusiast of the plethoral of TV cake shows, Noelle knew that her background in art and her creative flair would be the perfect combination to be a successful cake artist.
In 2008, she took a cake decorating class and was soon hooked. In 2010, Noelle enrolled in the inaugural cake program, L' Art du Gateau at Chicago's prestigious French Pastry School, where she studied under international cake designer, Nicholas Lodge. Upon graduation, Noelle returned to New York City and worked under world renowned cake artist, Colette Peters of Colette's Cakes. However, Noelle's heart stayed in Chicago and in 2011 Noelle, her husband Vinny and their French Bulldog Olive relocated permanently to Chicago and are happily situated in beautiful Wicker Park.
